About Cyrus Peikari, M.D.
Dr. Peikari is a home-grown Dallas doctor. He has lived in the same Park Cities/Preston Hollow zip code continuously since 1969. He received his medical license from the Texas Medical Board in 1996. After receiving a Bachelor of Science with honors in electrical engineering at Southern Methodist University, he worked for a year as a telecommunications and software engineer at Rockwell International/Alcatel. He then went on to receive an M.D. from Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, which included an Honors in the Urology rotation and a prestigious clinical externship rotation abroad in Neurology at Oxford Medical School in England. He then finished his training in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
Dr. Peikari is well known in the medical field, having written several books. His medical textbook has been one of the leading review texts used by physicians nationwide to study for the ABIM Internal Medicine Board Exam certification. Dr. Peikari is an active member of the Baha'i Faith, whose prophet-founder is Bahá'u'lláh. This has helped him to become comfortable discussing spirituality with people of all backgrounds.
Dr. Peikari loves serving his community. He and his wife Ramona are very active in neighborhood community building. He has two children. He is an award winning public speaker and has developed a lecture series on professional ethics for the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Peikari is highly sought after for interviews on radio and television. He developed multiple United States patents. Over 1,000 people have packed conference halls to hear him speak in person. However, he spends most of his time helping people one-on-one. There is nothing he loves more than serving you!
